Did you take the IUI or IVF orientation class? They really recommended that DH and I attend. I thought of not going because we've been doing IF treatments for 17 months already, I was kind of figuring that they probably won't tell me anything new. But, alas, the nurses convinced me to go. So, what can I expect?
And - a random vent - why is the class on a Tuesday from 11-1??? Uhm, hello??? I live 2 hours away and why is it right in the middle of the day??? Just sounds rediculous to me! So, now, DH and I have to take off not just a morning but a whole freaking day! Well, maybe we can hit some shops downtown while we're there? Just trying to look at the bright side! : )
Re: Stanford REI girls
We were fast tracked with my treatment so we missed the orientation. I really regret it. I felt totally in the dark because Stanford is its own world and navigating their medical system isn't always a picnic. My vote is to take it and make the most of it. BTW.. in the Stanford shopping center there is a little grocery store Signolas (sp?). They had the BEST fresh fruit and veggies. I use to stop by on the way home and pick up some goodies. The fresh pineapple can't hurt when it comes time for possible implantation.
My only Stanford class feedback is that I thought the injectable class stunk. We got a much better lesson from the pharmacist at DiscoRX.
