Updates (Baby, Furbaby, DH)

Certainly plenty of updates from me today! So this is a bit long

Baby Girl is measuring two weeks ahead! We got to see her yesterday at the MFM and she is looking great. They even said she has a lot of hair already! I'm so excited and dying to know what color it is and if it'll be straight (like mine) or curly (like DH). So we are all doubtful that I will make it to my due date. Based on measurements he said I could go around July 19. My cervix is still looking good though and no real contractions to speak of so far. He did put me on modified bed rest. He was concerned over my work environment (I previously posted about this) and that my work has gotten considerably more demanding on me lately. I'd also had a bit of random one-footed swelling over the weekend, and my cysts are still hanging around. So with all of that he decided it was time for me to take my leave from work to prevent any further problems and PTL.

Furbaby Isabelle's blood work came back and thankfully there is nothing to panic over. I am soooo relieved. The vet did say one thing came back just slightly elevated, and it could indicate a parasite so I'm supposed to drop a stool sample off to be tested. But something like that should be an easy fix. Anything more serious would have shown up on her blood panel.

As for DH, we visited legal assistance today to get some advice. If you don't remember I posted last month that he was being investigated due to some stupid coworker calling the cops on him for 'assaulting' a child at his work. (DH works at a child development center with toddlers) Several other coworkers have approached DH saying that this girl has blatantly told them she did this because she doesnt like him, and then told a bunch of people what happened, I have a feeling she embellished her report to the cops as well because there is NO realm of possibility of DH being charged with assault. A whole bunch of crap has come down about this girl (who was fired 2 days after this all happened) but the investigation is taking absolutely forever. Hopefully we will find out soon if DH will still have a job or should be looking elsewhere. At this rate he'll be starting his paternity leave before we have a solution! Regardless, when it ends we will be pursing something in civil court against this girl. She can not be allowed to go around destroying peoples lives without some kind of consequence.

So great that baby girl is doing well! Sorry about the modified BR, hopefully it goes well for you. Glad the vet really didn't find much with your dog, that's so hard when furbabies aren't feeling well!
Gosh, that is awful that DH's former coworker did that to him!!! Praying things happen soon and all in your favor, and she gets in trouble!

Sounds like everything is looking up! Glad to hear about baby and your furbaby and hopefully all of the issues with DH are resolved soon! Some people are just absolutely unreal....can't believe you have to deal with this!
