Following a different teething plan?

DD has had teeth since she was 4 months, which is really early.  But she got the normal bottom two and then at 6 months the top front ones seemed to be coming in, but then...they stopped?  Now both the side teeth on the top (the ones next to the front) have pushed through the gums but the front ones are still MIA.

Anyone else see this?  lol, she's going to look cute, but silly missing her front teeth.  Guess we know what she wants for Christmas (bad joke...I'm bored though, sorry ;) )

Re: Following a different teething plan?

  • We are on the no teeth plan. My mom claims I didn't get my first tooth until I was 18 months, so I've quit checking Mila's gums all the time.

  • we got the bottom two at 4 months and then the top 2 at 6.  Then one of the ones next to the top 2 came in a few weeks ago and the other one started to break and then stopped.  I think there's really no rhyme or reason.

Um, that's a cute Christmas card idea if I ever heard one!!!!!!!!!  A picture of your little girl smiling with her front two chompers missing...."all I want for Christmas is my two front teeth"

Don't know what plan we're on. Her two bottom teeth came in at 6 months, I think. Now she's been fighting with her top teeth for over 2 weeks. I can see them in her gums, they just haven't cut through yet. BUT I can see ALL of her top teeth through her gums- are they all coming together??

  • We evidently on the no teeth plan (though it seems like she has all the symptoms of teething... most of the time) - but my g/fs kids (all THREE) broke through the top side teeth FIRST.  They all three looked like vampires and all three (despite being born in different months) did this so that they were the only teeth they had that year for halloween (different years obviously) - We laugh about it - its kind of creep actually - but honestly - it was the CUTEST thing - take LOTS of pictures.

Sadly for baby #3 he then went on to get all 4 of the "normal" first teeth at once and then four more 2 weeks later.. he was one sad little boy for over a month.

  • He got his bottom two teeth at about 4 months and then his top two teeth came in at 7 months and now the two on each side of his top teeth are trying to break through.  He is really grumpy now but I'm hoping it wont last to long.  My pedi said that teeth have there own agenda and I am starting to believe her on that one. Good luck.  Hope her top two come soon.

We are on this plan as well. Although I swear I can see teeth in his gums.

This is all the same for my little guy.  Bottom two at 6 months and then he stopped wanting to suck on his bottles a couple weeks ago.  I could see all 4 of his top ones under the gums!!  Ahhh, it's been horrible!  They have now all broken through...3 in the same day and the 4th one 2 days later.  So they can definitely come all at once!
