Thoughts on boy name...

DH really likes the name Jamison for a boy. He's very Irish Only reason I'm not completely sold on it is because it's my favorite whiskey...and many of our family/friends know that. Lol

I like it... but whiskey is the first thing that comes to mind when I hear the name.

Thanks for all the input! The reason we thought of using the "i" instead of "e" is because our nephew is James. I was even adamant since the two names are similar, but DH is a very "I don't care" type of person...plus it's his side of the family

I actually like the name and the spelling. Your explanation of spelling it with the "i" instead of "e" makes perfect sense, plus it also makes it different from the alcohol.
