her 1st cold...naturally as a mom I feel SOO guilty

I took sophie to the dr. this morning.  She had been cranky all day yesterday and then she was only sleeping like 1/2 hour increments last night so I got no sleep and she was screaming everytime she woke up.  Dr. said its in her nose and throat but her lungs are clear, thank goodness.  So he ordered a nebulizer for her, and I have to call back tomm. about the throat culture.  My lil fella, I tried to be so careful, but I'm blaming this one on my mother-in-law.  She has been watching her for the past couple weeks since I came back to work and Monday she was coughing and I was like, why didn't u tell me u were sick and she tried to brush it off like it was nothing, so I brought her masks to wear, but I think the damage had been done.  UGH, she is SO stubborn and doesn't get how fragile a preemie is and its so fustrasting cause I have no other choice but for her to watch her.  I am supposed to be part of the layoffs that will happen in a few weeks, so I am just counting down the days until I can stay home with my lil munchkin.

I think it is inevitable. ?My little girl just got her first cold too and we have been living in a virtual bubble these days! ?I took her to the pediatrician yesterday as soon as she started not acting right and she has a double ear infection!!! ?How could this happen?? ?Like you though, I was sooooo relieved it wasn't in her lungs. ?DD is still on O2 and I am so scared of her developing something that will affect her lungs! ?Hope Sophie is feeling better (and you too Mommy!)
