Father's Day Plans

Is anyone doing anything special for Father's Day. If so what? I'm just cooking a special dinner and got a card.

    My hubby wanted to play golf, so I was his caddy. And it was HOT! And he wants to eat at Wing Stop and go see the new Superman movie. Lucky guy for his "first" father's day!!

    I went grocery shopping with my mom and took DS1 with me so he could stay and sleep in without a 7 year old boy pestering him every ten minutes Wink We also brought home McDonald's for lunch (my mom paid and said to tell him Happy Father's Day) and picked up a bag of Dad's cookies at the store which I strategically placed behind his lunch that I set up on the table for him.

    Then we roped off the kitchen with a "No Dads Allowed" sign while DS2 distracted DH with needing a bath, so that me and DS1 could finish his present: DS1 copied out "We Love You Dad" and "Dad, Mom says she wants to take our pictures" which we put into picture frames to be filled later. A third picture frame had one of our a/s pictures in it with a speech bubble that says "Me too!".

    I also got DH a new pillow at his request, and a vegetable keeper for an onion, because he loves to cook with onions! but he doesn't know how to store them so we waste a lot of half onions...
