I am currently in the car with my dad on an extended road trip to Oregon and Wyoming. thanks to all the Bumpies who encouraged me to go despite possibly missing my fertile window. I actually ovulated 4 days ago, so it all worked out. I also gave him a surprise this weekend by telling him we are TTC. He is Freaking Out about it, and super excited.
I also gave him a nice grill kit. I think he liked the TTC news better.

I'm celebrating with the hubby and kiddos but attempting to accomplish some form of my mile-high mountain of homework. I keep reminding DH, just because it's a holiday doesn't mean the learnin' stops : )
Recovering from a wedding yesterday. DH and I were suppose to take his Dad out but the weather sucks so his Dad postponed. Having a lazy Sunday instead, watching DH play Bioshock Infinite.
How is everyone celebrating Father's Day?

That is so cute.
We aren't really celebrating today. I saw my Dad yesterday. We had lunch and I gave him a funny card.
Today I cleaned the house, took the dog for a run, and now DH and I are grilling up some supper while I make us mudslides
Did some grocery shopping and spending the rest of the day being lazy at home. Looking forward to the True Blood season premiere tonight.
Celebrated Father's Day yesterday. Went bowling with my FIL in the morning. Midday BBQ at my dads house. Then a night AAA baseball game with a few of my aunts and uncles. Good day.
My dad lives out of town and my FIL is out of town visiting his wife's family so DH and I are home today. I cooked dinner and baked an apple pie (DH's favorite) and now we're just watching television.

O.M.G. I was so busy sulking that I forgot about True Blood! That just made my day!
Haha, happy I could help! Right now I'm watching last season's episodes to update myself. I love this show. One of the few shows I have to watch right when it airs. DVRing isn't an option for this.

Completely forgot about True Blood! DH is going to have play his video game elsewhere.
That road trip sounds awesome! Where all are you going in Oregon and Wyoming?
AFM, we live halfway across the country from my family so I called my dad and grandpa. Otherwise spending the day with DH and celebrating out anniversary a couple days early with a gorgeous day hiking and going to dinner tonight! It's been a pretty awesome day :
We are towing my dad's 1978 Trans Am up to Salem, Oregon to get it restored. Hitting the beach and doing some RVing while we are there, and seeing my aunt and uncle in Rock Springs, Wyoming. I am so psyched that it all falls during my 2WW as well. I will be waaay too busy to obsess about symptoms.

I've been at my mom and dad's since Thursday since DH and I were traveling for work and I got home a few days before he did.
We all went to the lake together for the weekend. We had lunch today with my brother's in laws, who have a cabin at the same lake. The three of us came back to their house tonight, dad and I went to DQ for ice cream, and then we had dinner and watched TV together. During the commercials, dad and I went through some questions about him. I'm a scrapbooker and plan to make a mini album from our QA.
