Dear AF, Where are you?

So, we are finally ready to get back to IF treatments.  We've been on an unexpected break for 6 months due to DH developing epilepsy.  His seizures are under control with meds, and we are ready to get back to ttc.

However, AF is not showing up for us to start a new cycle.  Pretty certain I am not pregnant.  I really don't want to take meds to get my period - last time it took 2+ weeks to get it to show up.  I have always had regular cycles, until this last year.  This is so frustrating.  Just want to get another try at IUI, especially with DH improved SA.

Just needed to vent - thanks for listening

Isn't that the worst!! It's like, the one time you actually WANT AF to show up, she takes her sweet time...and when you don't want her to show up, she shows up to the party early or on time. I know exactly how you feel. I couldn't wait for her to show up last cycle so we could finally start our iui cycle. She took forever...then finally she came and I had to postpone my cycle. AF was still around and I was already longing for next months AF to show up! 

 

Best of luck to you!! I was hoping we'd be cycle buddies but it looks like you're a few weeks ahead of me. I'm praying for you!

Ugh I had this happen last month, took provera AF never CE. I then started stims only to have AF show up in middle.

This cycle didn't work AF is here. You are welcome to have her!

Thanks for the responses.  MJC1116 - we may still get to be cycle buddies.  If I have to take provera, then it will probably still be a couple weeks before I get AF.

My fingers are crossed for you, but if we do cycle together, that would be great!! I obviously have zero experience with IUIs, so having someone to share notes with would be fantastic!

Did you ever get af? I'm still waiting for mine too. I read some stuff online about parsley tea I tried it, tastes foul and red raspberry leaf tea that made me cramp but still no af I called my dr but they won't give me anything to jump start it until I'm at least 3 months late or some BS.

Like you said, it doesn't come when you want it to!
