Finally gave in

And am now at urgent care for my kidney stone/UTI. I keep flip flipping on what it is, though I'm leaning more toward kidney stone. Have the tiniest urine sample known to man.

Guess we'll see in a bit!

  • Ah! Feel better!
  • Kidney stones seem to be the cool thing lately. I've known 4 gals in the last week that have gotten them. Hope you start feeling better soon.

  • Thanks all! Doc says its a UTI and have me some antibiotic. I still think it's more kidney stone, but whatever.

Of course! I've had multiple kidney stones, UTIs, and a bladder infection. I ruled out bladder infection because there was no blood in my urine, but I still think it's a kidney stone because I can feel it getting lower and lower down my urinary track as I drink more and more fluids, where as with a UTI I don't usually get any relief or change until I've been on antibiotics for a day or so.

I'm really hoping that you realize bladder infections and UTIs can make your pregnancy complicated really fast when left untreated! Especially when it gets to your kidneys. It's great you know what's going on because you've done it before several times but why did you let it get to the point of urgent care before seeking treatment?

If a UTI goes into your kidneys and evolves into a kidney infection it can cause early labor and a low birth weight. I'm side eyeing you for leaving it as long as you did without treatment when you KNOW what it is or could be.
