Hi. I'd just like to mention that this my first post so I'm not entirely sure on where it goes but this seemed like the best place. I tend to get nervous whenever I post on a new forum. Sorry!
Anyway I'm just about 30wks and today I was walking. About three minutes in I start getting a sudden pressure in the side of my belly, as if he were not kicking at me but sort of just pushing up against me. I kept walking and the other side of my belly felt the same way, but it started hurting and escalating as I kept walking. I had somewhere to be and I was trying to keep up a good pace but I had to slow down because the pain was getting worse and sharper as I kept moving. I was walking for about thirty minutes and when I was nearly done they did taper off.
Usually when I walk for much longer than twenty minutes I get a sort of pressure the sides of my belly, but today it onset very fast and hurt very badly. I wasn't sure if it was Braxton Hicks contractions because I had read they weren't supposed to necessarily hurt but instead be uncomfortable. They did seem to come in waves and have a peak, but it was a very sharp pain and I wasn't expecting it at all. Thoughts?

Yeah, I have had it high up on my belly, too... You pretty much have ligaments criss-crossing your abdomen, so you can get it all over. I had it high up just below my rib cage and thought it was my liver, but it turned out its just ligaments.
