The cervix???

Okay, please no rude comments I just want some answers. It's 8 days after I ovulated yes, my fianc I slept together that night. Anyways, my cervix isn't real low but it's where I can reach it no problem. It's not rock hard and it's closed shut. It feels a bit wrinkly or textured around where the slit is. I was just wondering why? Could it mean pregnancy? I thought it was suppose to be open before your period starts?

    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Once ovulation occurs, the cervix drops lower and becomes more firm - once again feeling like the tip of your nose. The opening to the uterus will become tightly closed. This can happen immediately after ovulation or may take several hours to several days.
