Up until now my name obsession has been limited to girls names. However I have recently dived into boys names and my current crush is Sebastian.
I feel like we never hear this name being used, so not common but also not out there.
The second part is we like to honour with middle names and I am just not sure any go with this. Would you put anything from this list with Sebastian?
Jon Jonathan
William
Edward
Frank
Thomas
James
Steven
Thanks ladies.

I like the name Sebastian. I think it is a refreshing name choice. My only issue (and I am probably the only crazy one who thinks this) is whenever I the name Sebastian I think of Sebastian the crab from the Little Mermaid...but he was cute and I liked him...That being said I think Sebastian is a great name.
I prefer:
Sebastian Edward
Sebastian William
Sebastian James
Sebastian Thomas

Ohhhhh I forgot about the crab guy. He was pretty cute though I think I can let this go.

I like it! Is there a nn for it though?
And for mns, Edward, Thomas and James sound the best.
Also one forum pointed out that the child would be called sea bass and teased forever. I think this is pretty tame and really a non issue. Kids will be teased for something no matter what they are named.

I actually know a couple who named their son Sebastien a couple years who refer to him as "sea bass". My BF only calls him sea bass. So I doubt they'd tease him about it. To us and I think to him (although he is very little), it's just a nn.
I like Sebastian a lot. And I really like your list of middle name options.
Not liking the repetitive sound with Jonathan
Similar situation with William
Like Edward a lot
Frank seems too.... Frank (pardon the pun)
Really like Thomas
Really like James
Repetitive sound with Steven.
For middle names I like Sebastian Thomas and Sebastian James.
Great names!
Love Sebastian and the NN Bastian. I also know someone who goes by the NN Seba.
I think Sebastian James or Sebastian Thomas flow well. Also like pp suggestion of Sebastian Edward.
D 2.20.2011 & Z 7.16.2013
I like it. I know two under 9.
I like Sebastian Thomas, Sebastian Edward, and Sebastian James. Would prefer Francis to Frank..
I love the name Sebastian. I think all those mns would work, but I am particularly fond of Sebastian Oliver, as a PP had mentioned.
P.S. Your dog is awesome.
