ready to be induced

Im so ready to be induced. I am worrying way to much about low amnonic fluids but not low enough (6.7 not 5) and changes in movement (only one spike in heartrate on the NST). Im 38 weeks today - any chance I can get the Dr. to induce me early??? Im scared something will happen if we wait much longer...mothers intuition or something...

Why do you need to be induced this early...medical reasons? I am going to be 41wks this weekend now considering to be induced.

That seems like a hard one! Scary stuff with the fluid levels and heart rates. But your dr doesn't seem too worried? I would say just keep up with the monitoring. And make sure your getting lots of rest and fluids to help. Taking the baby too early can be an issue also. I feel for you, rock and a hard place! Good luck!! And t and p!

If your levels arent low enough I would say your not going to be given a medical induction prior to 39 weeks. Just keep up with the monitoring and any recommendations or instructions your OB have you.

You can ask, but I am not sure they would grant you one for medical reasons.

Drink something sweet or eat something right before your NST. Hopefully that will make the babe more active and help reassure you. Bring up your worries with your doctor so you can get a better idea of what's going on.

Definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns. From what I've heard, your doctor generally can't induce you until you're 39 weeks, unless he/she is also very concerned. If it is causing you enough anxiety... then make sure you stress that to your doctor and you could probably convince them to induce you. GL!
