October 2013 Moms

My daughter is driving me crazy.

She won't stop asking me questions. She's five, so this is normal, but every time I so much as look at her...especially if its because she's been staring at me and I'm getting weirded out...she has to say "WHAAT???" Really loud. To which I say "you're staring at me bro" and then she says "no I'm not." Right. Then when we watch tv or a movie or read a book, every five minutes its "but then what happens?" Or "why is her hair brown?" Just watch the movie/show/read on and I guarantee that you'll find out what happens!!! She's so impatient lol. I'm going insane.

I am right there with ya. DS is 5 and he is so inquisitive. They are endless pits of questions.

I wouldn't mind if they were good questions. Yesterday she literally asked me what happens at the end of the movie...that she's seen 20,000 times before.

  • My daughter asks impossible questions to answer and it drives me bananas.  If they were questions I could actually answer, it wouldn't bug me so much.

So true! Or answers she could understand. Parenting is mostly coming up with creative and usually false answers that will at least get her to be quiet for 30 seconds lately.

GAH! DS does that too. I've started lying every time he asks questions about a movie he's seen 20 million times. Totally turn the plot around, so he spends most of the time correcting me. He gets the idea pretty quickly.

Hahaha I do that so much. She gets so annoyed. "Then why did you ask if you know the answer?" Then she gives me a blank stare haha.
