Do they make maternity lab coats? Or do you just have to order XL and look like a wizard with giant sleeves?

I'm just going progressively leave more and more buttons undone as this ridic bump gets bigger. 

Bill Nye would probably fashion some sort of living fabric that would just cover me in its slimy goodness.

I'm an unbuttoned lab coat kind of person anyway!

And to those who asked, they make maternity scrubs but to the best of my knowledge not maternity lab coats.  Guess you're either supposed to go unbuttoned or get a ginormous one.

That's surprising. I've seen maternity chef coats, so I don't see how a maternity lab coat would be so far fetched.

This is my plan too as a doc about to start my residency training next week (haven't had to wear a coat since bump).  I would feel like a kid playing dress-up in a size that actually fit at the waist... although the wizard reference earlier did make this option sound a bit more intriguing.  

If there are dangerous science experiments involved and the coat is actually for your safety from chemicals or something I would probably rethink.
