DH just installed small ceiling fans in the rooms. They were actually pretty cheap, under $50 each with the light.

I got this one for LO's room. Its nice and small and makes noise that is soothing. We had a ceiling fan, but I took it down to add a chandelier.

We have a HoneyWell air purifier type fan and use it for white noise. It's great :

Thank you! I wish we could have a ceiling fan but unfortunately the way the ceiling is doesn't allow us to have one safely. I'm going to look at the other suggestions. Thanks again
