I think that people who put their faith entirely in their doctors without doing any of their own research or getting second opinions are complete idiots.

I also think that people who hold their doctorate from Google University and don't listen to anything that their doctors say (I'm looking at all the non vaxers right now) are just as big of idiots.

As a doctor, I totally agree!

I think greeting cards are dumb. I just bought four of them for DH and the grandpas, and it hurt me.

 I agree, especially with kids.  I am not spending $1 or more on a birthday card for a kid who is just going to chuck it behind him and forget about it.

I get all of my greeting cards from the Dollar Tree now... Fifty cents per card! The insides are usually just boring black and white text, but a lot of the cards are really nice.

Another UO: I am so not a fan of this new chevron craze. I ordered like 15 yards of grab bag fabric and half of it is chevron. Now I'm sitting here sorting my fabric trying to figure out how I can pawn this off on someone else. Good thing I know a couple of people having babies... Looks like they'll be getting chevron outfits from me haha.

I hate smart phones.  I'm so sick and tired of seeing people walk around with their faces bureid in their phones instead of paying attention to where they are! I attended a training recently and during the break every single person got out their phone and started doing whatever it is people do on their phones these days.  I was seriously the only one there not looking at their phone.  Whatever happened to talking to real life people when they're sitting right next to you!!!

it is so much easier and satisfying to be a healthy person.  Restarted p90x last night and eating mostly fresh/local and 100% healthy...it is so much easier than stuffing your face with waste

I'm frustrated with business professionals acting well unprofessional.

No I don't want you to be my friend. I want you to be knowledgable and competent. And no just because I know someone who knows you, doesn't guarantee you'll get the job or it will continue indefinitely.

I'm going to fire our insurance guy because he's so unprofessional and can't adequately justify a 150 percent increase in premiums.

Also, the photographer that was going to do maternity/ newborn photos never got back to me in a timely manner. So she doesn't get business! If that's how you treat setting up appts I can't trust you to do your job.

My friend interviewed real estate agents and was very surprised at the varying degree of professionalism there as well!!

if someone wrote something nice or thoughtful, I often keep them for scrap books.  I kept all of my shower cards and my daughters first birthday cards for this purpose.  Other than that, I toss them.

I can't stand it when my husband opens a laptop at the breakfast table when our daughter is eating with us.   The first time he did I told him to put it away, and that he would no longer be allowed to bring it to the table.  If we sit down for a meal now, ever thing is put away.

if someone wrote something nice or thoughtful, I often keep them for scrap books.  I kept all of my shower cards and my daughters first birthday cards for this purpose.  Other than that, I toss them.

I think I have every card ever given to me. And I'm not really sentimental I just can't throw them out. I only keep birthday and holiday cards. Not thank you notes or such.

But I'm with you guys, I hate how expensive they are! I definitely need to check out the dollar store. I almost bought some from hobby lobby but they were 5 to 6 a piece. Now my rule is under 3! And 1 dollar for kids that will just throw them away.

I've heard of people making "books" with all the cards. Punch holes in the side and bind them together. I think I'll do this for all our wedding cards.
