That's tough I really like them both... I would wait to see what you think "fits" him more when you meet him ? We were torn with two names with DS as well but second he was born one just felt right
I like both names but prefer Theodore, and I agree it goes better with your LN. I don't mind the NN Theo but would definitely use Theodore as a formal name because I like the meaning.
DD born 10/10/07 * DS born 11/25/11 * #3 due 3/9/2015
Also, our last name sounds like 'Akers' and I feel like Jude Akers runs together a bit and sounds like one word (Judeakers). Theodore Akers or Theo Akers sounds better to me.
I agree on the sound. Jude Akers becomes judicurrs (I imagine it like Velma in Scooby-doo yelling jinkies ). But I absolutely love the name Theodore & nn Theo so I admit bias.
We both loved Jude but it REALLY doesn't go with our last name. I think it sounds fine with a 2 syllable last name. I love Theo though too. Sorry, I'm no help. Lol

I LOVE both names. But, I don't think Jude sounds good with your last name. I agree that it runs together.
How about Theophilus for a first name? It's a biblical name like Jude. Just throwing it out there.

I love Jude & Theodore and while Theo is growing on me I prefer Teddy.
My vote goes to Theodore.
