Implantation Bleeding?

Hello!  This is our 8th month TTC and I think I might have had some implantation spotting but I'm not sure, I was hoping you ladies could maybe help me...  Today is exactly 10 days post ovulation, last night around 8 pm I had a really really sharp pain that lasted for about 2 minutes and then just kind of faded away.  Then this morning around 6 when I got up and went pee there was a tiny bit of spotting on my toilet paper.  Have any of you had implantation bleeding and what is it like?  Or am I just over-analyzing every single potential symptom?  I haven't noticed any spotting since...  Thanks for your help!!

TTC Since October 2012.  I’m 27 and DH is 30

DH: 4 SAs, all came back normal, blood testing 6/13-9/13 all normal

Me: 03/13 irregular cycles, hypothyroidism diagnosis

     3/13 full blood panel showed normal results except thyroid

     5/13 regulated hypothyroidism, regular cycles again

     6/13 day 21-24 blood testing came back normal

     6/13-9/13 DH testing with Urologist- normal

     11/13 ultrasounds and full hormonal blood panel were normal

     12/13 OB consult, day 3 blood tests and HSG ordered

     01/14 HSG results normal, day 3 blood tests are normal

Just hoping that AF will back off and give me a chance to take a pregnancy test! All are Welcome!!

    I've had 1 bfp with no implantation bleeding or cramping. 

    I've had multiple cycles with cramping after O and spotting that didn't turn out to be bfps.

    you won't know until you POAS

    You can't know it is implantation bleeding until you get a positive test.

    Also, implantation bleeding is very rare. You are likely analyzing too much.

    How do you know you're 10dpo? Are you temping?

    Yes, I have been temping, as well as charting my CM, and taking OPKs.  The only thing I haven't been doing is checking and charting my cervix.  So assuming I charted everything correctly I should be 10dpo.  I figured I was over analyzing it... I'll just have to wait and see!

    Just like the ladies on 3T said, the only way to know if this is IB or random spotting is to get a BFP. IB is more rare than we think. It's possible sure, or you could just be over-analyzing.

       Me: IR-PCOS, elevated DHEAs, low progesterone, weak ovulation  DH: low volume, low T
    SHG 5/10/13: both tubes blocked; HSG 6/28 = Left tube cleared! Right blocked.
    BFP#1 7/20/13 EDD 3/30/14, m/c 8/19/13, D&E 8/21/13, Chromosomal results = normal, female
    Lap & hysteroscopy scheduled for 10/31, right tube cleared, no endo found! ...Happy Halloween!
    Cycle 14: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP! EDD 9/16/14~ Rowan Elizabeth born sleeping at 17w4d on 4/12/14 due to IC.
    ~There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world~
    New RE June 2014. RPL b/w - negative. SIS looking for uterine/cervical abnormalities & Asherman's 6/10/14 - ALL CLEAR!  
    Cycle 16: Natural IUI = CP, Cycle 17: Femara (2.5) + IUI = BFN, Cycle 18 Femara (5) + IUI = BFFN, Cycle 19: Break
    Cycle 20: Clomid (50)+ IUI = BFP EDD 6/20, transvaginal cerclage 12/19, Carson Quinn born sleeping at 16w3d on 1/6/15 due to IC
    Phone consult with Dr. Haney (Univ of Chicago) for transabdominal cercalge scheduled for 2/9/15.

    I know!  That darned 2WW!  I wish there was an absolute indicator on your body when you conceived.  Like a human version of a "check engine" light!  Thanks for your support ladies!

    I did have implantation bleeding with my DS, so I know it's possible. However, it's highly uncommon. There's no way to really know until AF shows or you have a positive HPT. GL!

    I hope it was implantation bleeding for you!

    I had implantation bleeding and I just saw spotting during that one time I went to the bathroom.  I didn't see any spotting after that.  It happened about 3 weeks after my LMP (I wasn't TTC or temping), so at the time I assumed it was my AF coming early.

    This is how it was for me today.  I look every time I wipe now so I can chart my CM, so it's just a habit now.  I hope that's what it is...  What great timing it would be with Fathers Day around the corner!  I hope that I can show my husband a BFP for a Fathers Day gift!

    I had implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy. I thought it was my period and lasted for three days but was a lot lighter. I ended up miscarrying but it had nothing to do with the implantation. It started one week before my period was due. It's not too rare. About 30 of the time it happens.

    I checked it out, it was very informative, but unfortunately it doesn't seem like its common enough for that to be what it was.  I am going to keep my fingers crossed!  

    Also do any of you ladies know- Do I need to wait until my missed period or can I test sooner assuming it was IB?  I'll wait either way but I am curious...

    GL to you. I hope it was IB, but of course unfortunately there's no way to know yet. 2WW can be so tough on us!

    I really like the idea of the "check engine" light!! How handy that would be!
