im currently 35wks today an was told I have to have a virsion to turn my little girl around the right way... and I was just wondering if anyone has had one or has any natural ways of turning this little miss around....=) thanks
DD didn't flip until 38 weeks. She was born at 39 weeks and 1 day. You have at least 5 weeks. I wouldn't jump the gun because at this stage baby could flip right back and you would have attempted something that ended up being useless this early. Calm yourself.
My ob offered to turn my lo at 38 wks but I had just saw a show where they did that and the lady went right into labor and when all was said and done she said it was more painful than the labor itself...so I opted for the c-section instead...since my DS was breech my insurance had no issues covering the surgery...
i had also read up on the turning process and read that is could put baby in distress and I just thought it was more than I wanted to handle.
Did they mean you'd have to have one if she didn't turn on her own? I would have guessed you'd still have plenty of time.. I'm pretty sure it's very normal for them not to turn until 2-4 weeks till delivery. I wouldn't worry too much about it, but if you are I think there are some things you can do at home (positions) that might help you out.

This. DS was breech and now this baby is also breech (transverse position). Personally after researching I would never do a version - too risky IMO... Typically they induce you right away if it does work to get you into labor, and the baby could flip right back. I didn't want to put any extra stress on the baby - a c/s seemed like a safer option.
Do you go to a chiropractor? That can help your baby turn. With DS I did all the spinning babies exercises, went to the chiro, etc. But he was just too big to turn. I think this one will end up the same way - but as long as she's healthy that's fine w/ me...
My baby was breech and I tried everything: version, chiropractic's, pre-natal yoga, midwife's exercises, swimming daily...nothing worked. The baby did not flip on her own either and I ended up with a C-section.
The version felt like a car was running over my stomach. No joke. It hurt like hell. My OB said his success rate was ~50%. I'm glad I tried it so I didn't end up with regrets about not doing everything possible. The C-section sucked worse.
Re: breech baby girl

Good luck!
You don't have to have a version...
