I am 28 years old, healthy, fertile and highly active.
My kids are now 11 and 9. Both born healthy and so beautiful.
Two
moths ago, I started having pains in my lower left abdomen. They got so
severe that I ended up going to the urgent clinic. I was 16 days late
on my period and thought maybe it was an ectopic pregnancy. After a
blood and urine test and an internal exam, I was told I'm not pregnant
but need to get to a GYN due to lesions that were seen on my cervix.
A
week later, I am seen at my GYN, no lesions. Urine preg test- negative.
Did a pap that came back abnormal. Tuesday, May 28, 2013, I had a
colposcopy done. GYN was testing me for cervical cancer. Called the GYN
several times, only to be told it was normal and to get rest.
Wednesday and Thursday, I was cramping, nauseous and extremely fatigue.
Friday
morning, I went pee, wiped and saw a specimen on the tissue. It was
about a half dollar size, maybe a little bigger. Called GYN in a panic
and was told it was nothing to worry about. Flush the specimen or throw
it away. There was not a single drop of blood. Told me I did not need to
be seen by the GYN and if I wanted to anyway "for peace of mind" I
could get an appointment but not for another week or two.
I
saved the specimen and went to the E.R. Had a miscarriage at 9 weeks
pregnant. GYN still refusing to see me. Found a new GYN. Went for blood
work and ultrasound. Was told it's a twin pregnancy and the other embryo
is stuck in my fallopian tube. Blood work still pending.
My question is, how could this happen? I am so upset? How can a person have a miscarriage with no blood?
Why so many blood and urine test but all negative? How soon can I get
pregnant again? The embryo is still in my fallopian tube. It's been over
a week. Can I get an infection from this?
I buried the miscarried embryo in a plant rather than trashing or flushing.
By
the way- the urgent care facility, lab corp (who I forgot to mention
said they have no record of me and lost the ultrasound and blood work
initially) and my GYN are all JOHNS HOPKINS.
