Hello  

 My son's name is Evan.  If I have a girl, I really like the name Evelyn.  Do you think they are too similar?  I appreciate your opinions.

Yeah, way too similar and matchy.  They are both good names but definitely not for siblings.  You probably wouldn't name sibling Michael and Michelle, right?

Sorry, but it's too similar. We've also had to cross off some girl names from our list (Natalie/Natalia in particular) for future daughters due to our son's name.
