Do you guys think these names have "gone to the girls"?

They are still both in the top 100 for our state but I know Dylan is in the top 500 for girls according to behindthename.

I still think of them as masculine names, I have never met any girls with these names which influences my opinion I suppose, but I don't find them at all feminine.

Boy names. I think some girls may have the name but still primarily boy names.

I do know both a Blake and a Dylan who are girls.  I find their names very masculine and have to remind myself that they are girls.  I think these are boy names.  By the way, I love Dylan!

Blake is for sure a boys name 100. I've heard Blakey, but never Blake. Dylan I think can go either way, but I like it for a boy.

I've never met a female Dylan IRL.  And I can't stand Blake on a girl.  It's all boy to me.

I like them on girls, but I think of boys when I first hear the names. Although Dylan  is slowly edging over to the girls side for me. The only thing making it tenaciously hold on to the boys side is the thought of Dylan McKay lol!

I have never heard Dylan as a girls name, but isn't there some actress whose name is Blake? They are def boy names, and I love Blake. Our last name starts with K so I think having a first name end in the same letter that the last name starts with it makes its a huge mouthful. But that's still my fav if it fits your family name.

100% boy names. Just because some people use them for girls, does not make them girl names.
