Chart Stalks/Vents/Comments: Started the CBAOT this month and its showing I'm on track to O a few days earlier than usual.....anyone else use this and was it accurate?

As a kid, I wanted to be a doctor....but as a teen I wanted to be a therapist and that is what I ended up being (and I'm glad I went that route instead of the medical one!)

I wanted to be a veterinarian or a teacher since about 2 nd grade.
I became a veterinary technician nurse for animals and an elementary teacher.

Clear blue advanced ovulation test....not the monitor, but the opk that tests estrogen levels in addition to LH.

What are you doing to get KU? Not as much as I should be! I've been slacking this month. AF ended CD8 and I still haven't started temping or OPKs yet. I am not officially in my 3 week FW (thanks, FF!) so I need to get on it!
Chart Stalks/Vents/Comments: I saw a friend earlier this weekend who has an 8 month old LO at home. Whenever I see her, the first thing she ALWAYS asks is if I'm TTC or KU. When I said we were TTC but not KU yet (she's persistent and wouldn't take vague answers), she told me all the ways I was doing it wrong. She used Clearblue digital OPKs, got one positive, had sex once, and got KU.
GTKY: What did you originally want to be when you "grew up"? Did you end up doing it? I wanted to be a doctor. Instead I'm a scientist in biotechnology - close enough!

GTKY: What did you originally want to be when you "grew up"? Did you end up doing it? A teacher. No, I switched my degree to Psychology halfway through. I am really glad I did - it seems like the teaching profession is getting tougher and there are not a lot of job openings where I live.

When I was in first grade I wanted to be a paleontologist....a dinosaur excavator pretty much. I had tons of dinosaur encyclopedias and big thick books that I would "read". Haha!
When I was in middle school my dream was to go to Duke and be a forensic scientist. I loved CSI and played all sorts of forensics computer games, and I wanted to be the hero in the "whodunit" cases. :]
To me that's even more rude than "Thinking about kids yet?" or "Any babies on the horizon?" "Baby news" implies that there is a baby that there's news about. Friends can be dumb sometimes!!

GTKY: What did you originally want to be when you "grew up"? Did you end up doing it? I wanted to go into Sports Medicine, but the Chemistry classes I needed to pass for my Biology degree weren't working for. After failing for the 2nd time, I changed majors and got a Comp Sci degree instead.
Or my fave: "Oh you don't have kids yet? That's ok... At least you have a career."
The sad part about that gem of wisdom came from a family member.

I originally wanted to be a Veterinarian. I ended up going to school to be a Vet Tech, so pretty darn close. I am doing what I have loved since I was a child...working with animals [&]
I 100% wanted to be a marine biologist! I even looked into a school where I would spend my last 2 years in Hawaii. I ended up being too scared to commit to the program...would have been fun though! I ended up still working in science, and I'm in school to be a PA now...kinda close. Right?

What are you doing to get KU? I've been pretty absent from the boards lately. DH and I were a little in limbo about whether we should put TTC on hold for a few months until timing would put us closer to having a baby closer to when I will be finishing school. We've decided we should wait, and I know its the right decision for us right now, but I'm still bummed about it. To top it off, a good friend just told me yesterday that she's KU. Super pumped for her - just a little sad for us. I'm gonna still lurk around here though if that's okay, and hopefully we'll be back at it within 6 months

Chart Stalks/Vents/Comments: Vents and comments. First off, I know it takes a while for your body to regulate itself, but I just want to confirm an O. I feel like being on CD23 without an O yet is crazy if my last cycle was 33 days long. I guess I can expect a longer cycle this month, or just a cycle without O all together.
I know I've read somewhere that being a mouth breather at night can mess up your BBT if you're taking it orally. Can anyone provide any more info on that? And how exactly do you take your BBT vaginally? I THINK I'm a mouth breather and I'm thinking that may be why I haven't been able to see any temp shifts.
GTKY: What did you originally want to be when you "grew up"? Did you end up doing it? To be honest with you, I can't remember what I originally wanted to be. It probably had something to do with horses or being a vet. I definitely did not end up doing either of those things. I'm in HR now. It's really not all that bad. I have a pretty flexible schedule and a M-F schedule. It could be worse!
