I actually have a few questions... sorry in advance.
1. This morning when I went to use the bathroom I saw a little spot of brown in my panties. I called my doctor and he said he wasn't worried about it. But then when I went back to sleep and woke back up to use the bathroom again there was more brown than there was earlier. I'm a little worried. But on a side note I was in labor and delivery for cramping which did turn out to be contractions due to dehydration and I was checked twice to see if my cervix was dilated. Could being checked cause the brown discharge? Or is it a sign I'm going to lose my plug soon?
2. I've been really sick with a viral infection for almost a week now. Fever. Aches and pains. The works. I've been taking Tylenol every four hours or so to keep my fever down and I've been drinking a lot of fluids but I haven't been able to eat anything. My stomach just can't handle any solids right now and its been like that for a few days now. My mom suggested I drink ensure to get nutrients to me and my baby so I've been doing just that. Is there anything else I can do to help me eat or to get more nutrients?
I think that's the last of my questions. Thanks in advance for your advice ladies.
Oh one more thing. I'll be 36 weeks on Monday.

The brown discharge didn't happen until this morning
And they didn't really help me as far as my sickness goes they were more concerned with my contractions and my dehydration
I'm also super bad at eating breakfast so I usually take an Instant Carnation breakfast in order to get some nutrients.
This may sound like a weird question - but has anyone...been around down there? Yesterday I thought my water broke (it didn't) and went to the doctor where they examined my cervix and this morning there was some brown. They said that in the weeks/days before birth there are a lot of changes going on and some brown blood is normal, especially after an exam, or sex, or whatever. It's probably from your cervical check.
I would talk to your doctor, but try drinking chicken broth - it has a lot of protein which you and your baby needs. Clear sodas, ginger ale are good too. I would also talk to your doctor about this.
