Cleaning potty?

DD just pooped in her potty for the first time!! Obviously I put the poop in the regular toilet but what do you do to clean the potty? Just the same thing as the regular toilet? Seems gross to just leave residue in there...

I've just been using some Simply Green spray and wiping it out. I guess you could use bleach or toilet bowl cleaner if you wanted.

Oh I never thought to use toilet bowl cleaner.
I always dumped poop in toilet then swished bleach and hot water in potty in laundry deep sink.

I spray some cleaner in the potty (green works) and rinse with really hot water every time.  I dump the water (from rinsing) into the toilet

rinse it out with hot water, then clorox wipe
