FTM here and I am super excited to CD!
I have an amazing STM at church who is helping me out, but I just wanted to check with you ladies to see if there were any brands you recommend. I know that each baby is an individual and some brands just won't work for everyone, but I didn't know if there were any that were universally good or bad that I should definitely try or stay away from. Thanks!
PS- I am thinking of starting out with prefolds (obviously have to wait for baby to see what size, but from the looks of the A/S, I think I'll need a bigger boat!) and then moving on to either AIOs or AI2s. Any advice on type of cloth diaper is much appreciated too!
Re: Best brands
Blueberry Minis, Blueberry Coveralls, and Bummis Super Brites are all great covers with double leg gussets and very durable aplix.
Thirsties Duo Wraps with snaps are also nice. Avoid Thirsties aplix unless you're willing to replace it down the road.

NB stage: Imagine Smart Fit prefolds with Thirsties covers.
DD2 is 6 months and I grab the Flips with the Stay Dry inserts first. For DH (SAHD) and babysitters, BG 4.0's (pockets) and Freetimes (AIO) are great. For night time, I am loving DD's new Bububebe fitted diapers, with a wool cover. Amazing!
