Uti/ macrobid

My dr said I had bacteria in my urine at my last appt.  she sent it out and it came back with a high number of bacteria growth, the nurse called it a contaminant nit infection but wanted to treat it since I was pg.  she gave me macrobid for 7 days.  Stupid me went on dr google and you can always find bad stories there.  The pharmist said it was cat b.  

anyone else on/ take this?

Same. During 1st tri I was on it. It made my nausea way worse, but otherwise was fine.

I am on it right now for a UTI. Pharmacist said it was the one most commonly prescribed during pregnancy and was the safest.

Took it. It's fine. Category B is awesome!

I'm on this right now to treat my second uti this pregnancy. It made me nauseated and gave me heartburn when I took it in first trimester, but it is considered one of the safest to take during pregnancy.

I'm on it right now.  I questioned taking it as well, since I didn't have symptoms, but I looked it up and it seemed pretty safe.

Macrobid is actually one of the more safe antibiotics. Most others are class C
