menstrual like cramping & bad back pain?

anyone having/had all of this at once? I am on baby #3 & she could be facing outward (unverified statement from my OB) so maybe thats why?

 

I have also had random irreg contraction that hurt and BH the past few weeks..... menstrual like cramping & bad back pain started consistently...going on day 3

I'm having that now, but have a midwife appt tomorrow, so I'll speak with her about it then.  How far are you?  Might not be a bad idea to phone your doc.

I am 32w 3d but have been measuring 6w ahead- I have an U/S June 13th to check her size and due date.

Could be a urinary tract infection. You should go in and see your doctor.

OMG I was totally going to post about this this morning.  I have had this issue since I was 29 weeks along.  I was told to drink more water and lay on my left side to relax.  I do that and it has helped, except this morning I am super crampy.  Is this typical for third trimester?  It seems since I hit the third trimester I feel like I'm going to start my period or something (weird feeling since its been a long time since I have felt this way lol )  I know sometimes I do just need water, but today these cramps are relentless no matter how much water I drink.....but I have gone in for it before and they don't do anything other than tell me more water lol....I'm not having contractions now so they aren't too worried probably for that reason....but it is pretty uncomfortable.

I had pretty bad menstruallike cramping ALL night sunday and most of monday with 30ish min. breaks here and there. I didnt call anybody cuz I had a Drs appt. monday afternoon and figured if I was in labor it could either wait until then OR itd get obvious and Id just be rushing to the hospital anyway.
At my appt. they did an exam and the bacterial swab they do at 37 wks. My doctor told me I was semidilated and my cervix was 80 "thinned out" which I think is what they refer to as "effaced." Also, my cervix is apparently rather thin which I guess means I'll have to push less which in turn means a faster delivery... YAY! My baby is head down and in the diving position woohoo! I guess this means I could pop anytime so Ive just been waiting for either my water to break, contractions to get serious ooor a week to go by so I can find out more at my next appt.

In conclusion, you may be dilating and having minor contractions. Its a good idea to keep an eye on things ie time contractions, watch out for more uh leakage than normal lol and uh if it feels like a head is sliding down your birth canal.. Drive to the hospital Oh yea and have ur bag packed. Thats sumthin I didnt get done till what COULD have been the last minute and probably shouldve taken care of earlier

I was dehydrated and did have a little trace of possible uti but they think its from the dehydration and would go away after a lot of water. Never heard of that before

I ended up having a positive ffn test so you could be right! Just.hoping my due date is off like suspected prior to this incident.

Not sure bc idk how far along I am! Anywhere bw 32/3338/39w.....call your doc to be safe...I thought I knew it all w my body and pregnancies bc I have had 2 already that were somewhat identicle...but this one is totally.different.....everything from weight gain to fundal measurements, to symptoms and more!
