9 Reasons You Shouldn't Have Kids???

I've been registered with TheKnot.com since I got engaged in 2010, and also TheNest and obviously TB. Well today I got a newsletter from The Nest entitled "9 Reasons You Shouldn't Have Kids at least right now". Does anyone else think the director of marketing should maybe be cross referencing Nest members who are currently active Bump members??? I mean I could have had a hormonal freak out if I read through that newsletter and realized I "shouldn't" be having my son...

They aren't saying don't have kids ever....just right now.  Considering it came from "The Nest" I fail to see the big issue????

It's not a big issue. I actually haven't even read it yet. I just found it ironic and amusing. But I mean, if I had been TTC for a long time or had suffered a previous loss and was finally almost full term on my first pregnancy, and I got that email? I could imagine it would really dampen someone's day.

But again, it is coming from The Nest....not The Bump.  Plus, it is well known that none of the companies are known for "publishing" the greatest articles anyway.

I got that email too. After reading the title I deleted it before reading the actual email. I didn't want it to say something that would have bothered me so I got rid of it.

I don't know why you would classify it as "having a freak out that you shouldn't be having  your son" if its "no big deal", right? If its hilarious and amusing there is no reason to spazz about it. 

The nest and the bump don't have the greatest articles. So I wouldn't sweat it.

Also, its a little late now!

It's actually not a terrible list. Nothing on there made me angry and I laughed at some. Totally reasonable for someone to read if they are considering ttc.
