Just thought I'd ask..its hard to believe a lot of us were dying to have our babies out this time last year because of the heat and now our LO's are mobile! :
How are you mama's feeling physically? I just found out I have osteoarthritis in my hips : its soo painful most days. My family Dr said its probably from carrying 4 pregnancies and my weight has always been an issue..which I'm working on but it doesn't happen overnight right?
Are you guys feeling back to normal? Anything standing out to you that you never had issues with before?
Re: How are you feeling?
my hips and lower back still hurt a lot.
mostly I am just really really tired.
The joints basically feel like they're grinding when I walk. The pain is like sciatic nerve you get in your back but it starts at the hip and radiates downwards. They couldn't do xrays when I was pregnant obviously and I still put it off after she was born, just got my results 2 weeks ago. He said I don't need surgery yet but I'm so scared I will need a hip replacement in 10 years when I'm 40.
I have a lot of lower back twinges and minor aches. And also, I'm chronically fatigued. So much so that when I do manage to get five or six straight hours of sleep (which isn't often), my body freaks the fluck out and I wake up more exhausted than I do when I get less sleep. Weird.
But despite all of that, I'm still glad I'm not pregnant!
I think this is what I'm dealing with today
I actually slept a little more last night but I'm so chronically sleep deprived I actually feel worse
Achy hips and lower back. And my feet go kind of numb after I've been laying flat for a while, like after getting out of bed. Also, I'm always tired.

I too have that wrist/thumb thing. Not sure if it's from the way I hold babies, or bottles (maybe from tandem bottle feeding), but it's very painful. Beyond that I'm overall ok. However, when I have my period now, I get horrible cramps and back pains. I never experienced that with a period before having babies.
Sorry to hear about your hips. Hope you find relief soon.
Wait, this is different?
You should come over. I do all these things.
Does this not seem like a sick and twisted joke to you?
My husband will offer to take DS overnight, and I will wake up feeling shittier. As a result, DH feels like his efforts were wasted, and he doesn't offer again for a while.
WTF, BODY?
OMG, I am soooo thankful you said this. I thought there was seriously something wrong with me. My ankles and right foot especially feel like absolute crap and I look like a poor cripple. My back doesn't hurt much but my right hip will be a stupid pain and I can't stand up straight. I thought this was just me being an out of shape, still overweight moaner who is falling apart. I swear a 90 year old can do better than me some days.
