Our schedules change quarterly at my work. We get to bid on a set of schedules and rank which ones we prefer. The better your performance the more likely you are to get a schedule you really want. We bid last week for the schedule I'll work when I come back from maternity leave... I got my 2nd choice and little Charlie will only need daycare about 6 hours a week!

I'm just happy to save the money, plus peace of mind that he'll be with my husband or me, rather than worrying so much about his quality of care at a daycare center.
