Just wearing full on make up... 5 years old? I used to have my make up fully done a few times a year for dance. Doing it myself, about 10-12 years of age.

This fits my experience exactly, except my first performance was age 4 (almost 5, I think).

Nothing like a 5 year old getting mascara and pixy dust everywhere!!

I did a lot of ballet, so pixy dust/glitter was in my life for many, many years. Oy.
Oh, and mascara application is THE WORST when you're 5.
DD started using concealer in 5th and 6th grade. In junior high, she wore neutral shimmer eyeshadows and lip gloss. Now that she's in high school, she's still not into makeup and wears nothing but concealer most days.

Ha! I wasn't talking about dance recitals where your mom did your make up and hair sprayed the shiiit out of your hair with glitter spray I meant when you started doing your own make up and were allowed out in public with it.

I was like, 11. I think. Maybe 12. Maybe 10. It's all a blur.
I got lazy around 17 and make up was a sometimes thing.
Then I got *really* lazy around 22 when I stopped wearing it except for occasional concealer and blush, and haven't looked back. I do curl my eye lashes if I want to "feel pretty", though. Is that weird?
I was in middle school. I had several Caboodles full of make up eventually. It was really, really important to have a cover girl compact at school or else you basically failed at lyfe.
I was allowed to wear clear mascara in 7th grade. Yep, clear. A lot of good it did since I have blonde lashes. Freshman year I was allowed to wear full makeup.
I remember buying blue mascara in 6th grade and wearing it once or twice, but once my parents noticed, the took it away. In 7th grade I started dabbling in it with pink lipgloss and eventually lipstick. By 8th grade, I was wearing eyeliner, and it just went from there.
I qas in 6th grade. That's also when I started my period and started shaving so it was a big year. At first I only wore powder, blush, mascara, and gloss. Now I'm ne of those people who doesn't go out without makeup but I've pretty make perfected the 5 Minute Face.
When I started the acne journey, which was in 5th grade. I started out with just foundation and powder. I wore foundation, powder, eye shadow, and mascara by 6th grade.

9th grade? I was never into makeup really, l am lazy and couldn't even attempt to put it on in the morning before school. I preferred sleeping in.
Haha, this was so me in high school. I'd put make-up on for a special occasion (singing in a choir event, homecoming/prom, picture day, etc.), but I didn't start wearing make-up on a regular, every day basis until I was about 19-20 years old.
I love the mentions of Caboodles in this thread, too. I got a purple one when I was 8 or 9, and I used to put my Love's Baby Soft and Lip Smackers in it.

I think I started around 11 or 12. It was around the same time my mom bought me a hair crimper and I crimped my hair every day of 6th grade. Every. Day. lol
I think this was 6th grade...My mom didn't want me to, but I begged and begged and begged and she finally gave in and got me some more "natural" colored products (like...only powder, clear mascara, neutral eyeshadow and lipgloss)... so pretty minimal
But I would sneak some of her eyeliner and put it on once I got to school. I loved me some eyeliner. Such a rebel.

Yup, also waterproof make up is a must!

After that, it was somewhere in grade 10 that I started to wear some mascara and lipstick regularly.

Umm, never really. I realize I'm strange.
I got a Crayola makeup kit for Christmas in the 4th grade. You know, for pretend play. I wore it to school one day and was sent home.
I started wearing makeup for real probably around 8th or 9th grade.
