Corn on the cob! Broke it in half and let her go to town - she loved it.
Both of my kids like farro - it's a grain kind of like rice. It's bigger and hardier so it's easier to eat (healthier too). I usually cook it with homemade chicken or veggie broth so it has more flavor. And leftovers make a great cold salad (add tomatoes, cucumber, etc).
I made Anja a wrap for lunch today and she loved it.
I used grilled chicken, diced granny smith apples, diced red grapes, crunchy peanutbutter, honey, plain greek yogurt, almond slivers, and wrapped it in Romaine lettuce.
I think it's pretty yummy too.

Holey moley, that sounds delicious! I've been afraid to feed DS raw apples and lettuce b/c of the choking factor. Maybe the pedi will give us the go-ahead for peanut butter and honey soon.
I make a lot of the recipes on 100daysofrealfood. Almost everything has been a bit hit with all my boys. The only time we have issues is when DS3 is teething then he wants nothing but soft bread or fruit pouches.
Are you ladies giving them whole sandwiches and wraps and just let them bite pieces off? I've been cutting them up. Just wondering what everyone is doing.
Big hits this week include turkey meatloaf bites (Real Simple Roasted Red Pepper Turkey Meatloaf Recipe + some added grated Zuchinni and Carrot made in a mini muffin tin), Trader Joe's Frozen Grilled Asparagus (he loves this), grapefruit, and PB&J rolled tortilla slices.
For quick items toast and hummus has been a huge hit for a while, also plain old fashion oats with a spoonful of peanut butter mixed in after cooking (I make a big serving and keep it in the fridge for a few meals, frozen sweet peas, Greek yogurt just dropped on his tray. He's also finally getting into Cheerios and other cereals as snacks. I was eating rice krispies & he was trying to get at the box so I gave him pile and he thought they were both hilarious and yummy. He had great fun trying to figure out how to eat them, eventually licking his hand and sticking it in the them. Fun Dip baby-style.
What were some meal hits with LO this past week? Love to hear what they were for meal ideas this week.
for us : DS loved penne with meat sauce.
I had to bake a birthday cake for friend and was struggling to get it frosted before work because DS was being fussy. Totally stuck him in his high chair and overdosed him on fusili and meat sauce. Worked like a charm.

That does sound freakin awesome! I've gotta make it now!
I made turkey meatloaf a while back that Jack scarfed right down. Last night he had BBQ chicken, green beans, and cheesy potatoes. Tonight he had fish, homemade Mac and cheese, a fruit/veggie pouch, and some yogurt. He also loves Cheerios and scrambled eggs.

I just cubed all the veggies, drizzled EVOO, added some lemon zest and the juice of one lemon. Covered with foil and baked at 400F for about 30 min.

DS tried several new things this week:
Meatloaf
corn on the cob
spinach Alfredo pizza (OMG did he love it)
And we have pasta once a week which he adores!
He also likes toast and scrambled eggs for breakfast
