I'm still not sure what to bring baby home in. I keep going back and forth between a light cotton long sleeve one piece outfit or long pants short sleeves or just a really cute summer romper.
Me too. You never know what kind of weather you'll have in New England. Generally it's 80 degrees in July but it could easily be 60 degrees and raining too. Decisions!!
I also vote romper or one piece... My concern with pants would be the possibility of the band rubbing over the umbilical scab.
Some pediatricians actually recommend pants and a top (not onesie) for a newborn. So the umbilical cord can breathe. My sister never had issues with the band rubbing her LO, you just have to be conscious of it.
