So I have loved the name Leila (or a variation spelling such as Laila, or leyla, not sure yet) since I was younger...and FH doesn't hate it, so it's an option for if we have a girl.
If (or when, is really the ultimate issue here) we have a boy, his name will be Jack after my dad. Would Leila sound right as the name to a sibling of a Jack? Jack is much more...traditional I guess wheras Leila is a little bit different. Would they be weird together?
Also, what do you think of the name Leila in general...yay? nay? Won't really change my mind, but interested to know what others opinions might be

i don't think the name is untraditional at all. i do believe the "traditional" spelling is Layla though. which i much prefer to the ones you listed.
i think Jack and Layla are cute together!!
ETA: spelling
Actually, that was the spelling that I preffered too! (Layla) I just totally forgot about it in my hasty typing, and listed the other ones instead lol.
