AW for a little bit of relief

I am counting blessings here ... and since you have all been very supportive thought I would share a shred of positive news on my health.

After a very bad day yesterday and a rough midwife appointment (baby's HR was very high due to my severe pain and poor respiratory status, I am losing weight and measuring small) - I was almost admitted to L&D for IV pain meds (I have cracked ribs from coughing so hard with my asthma/pneumonia) but opted to try one more day at home with Vicodin and Tylenol #3. I had an awful night up with severe 10/10 stabbing pain and very poor breathing.

This morning I was able to worked in for an emergency session with my DH's old accupuncturist and for the first time in 2 weeks I have a shred of optimism/relief that I can get better. My pain is decreased  significantly for now and I am having less wheezing and am able to breathe better in general deep into my lungs for the first time since I was hospitalized.

I feel slightly less anxious and more able to handle things at the moment. Emotionally I have been really struggling with my illness/debilitated state and today is the first time I feel like I may actually be able to get through this and deliver my baby boy in a healthy state of mind.

Thank you all the ongoing support. Hope everyone is having good weekends and that all the inside babes keep cooking and the outside ones are getting stronger by the minute.
