Father's Day gift

I'm considering buying my dad a smoker for Father's Day.  Anyone recommend a good one as I'm clueless on where to start!

    I don't have any recommendations, but I'll be following this post because we want to get a smoker as well. I saw one at Walmart for 75, Charbroil brand I think, and we may start with that to see if we'll actually use it before we make a big investment.

    My neighbor makes a lot of smoked meets for block parties and such. He uses something called The Big Green Egg. He says it's great.

    My boyfriend and I bought a Traeger grill.  You can smoke and grill on it.  It was pretty spendy but we use it all the time.  It is great!  www.traegergrills.com
