My thoughts: Sounds a little pretentious; it's a bit of a mouthful; could grow on me though. I'm not really into "place" names but I like it much better than say Paris or London.

I'm from South Jersey and to me, Kensington is a nasty part of Philadelphia. Being from south jersey also makes me hate the name Camden. One of the worst cities in the country.

There is an overpass in my hometown named the Kensington Expressway. That's all I can think of.

I know a girl that goes by Kensi--her fn/mn is Mary Kensington, I believe. It's one of those names that I'm okay with if it's a family name. If not, it's trying waaaay too hard, like the parents wanted the child to "sound rich."
