You could google - there have been several threds in the last few months.. the answer in the end - it could be - it could not be.
I'm about 40 pounds from my ideal weight per my doc - (though I'm a size 14 so not HUGE or having specific issues) and so I decided to do weight watchers a month or so ago and asked the same question. I got multiple - it was great - eat the extra points - I dropped weight - no issues and a few - anytime I've tried anythign my supply dips. So I joined. I ate all the extra points - I lost 4 pounds in 3 weeks.. and my supply took an ounce to pound ratio dip. (so every pound I lost I pumped an ounce less at work) - honestly? It never recovered. It did go back up some when I went off - but I've struggled since. That said.. LO is also at the 8 month mark - so over 6 months and I hear that pumping moms often have a supply issue about this time for various reasons (working / pumping - bfing at home) So... who really knows.

This is how I am. I'm stuck at 160. If I drop below this, I have a significant drop in supply.
As a cardiac RN, my question is how is your Svt and BP now? Are you on meds? Are you symptomatic? The SVT probably won't be effected too much by losing weight, but the BP will definitely drop w weight loss. Have you considered ablation for the SVT? It's very cureable w ablation
What worked for me was cutting out all packaged foods. I eat a ton of calories, but only meat, eggs, fruits, and veggies. Cutting calories dropped my supply too much.
TTC with PCOS since November 2009
IUI#1 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP, m/c IUI#2 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 5-9) = BFN IUI#3 Femara/Ovidrel (cd 3-7) = BFP! beta #1 11/23 = 270, P4 = 75 beta #2 11/28 = 2055 Our daughter E was born 7/29/2012! Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
Thanks for posting this. I need to lose about 40 lbs as well and wanted to join Weight Watchers in a couple weeks but was also concerned about losing milk supply.

I had an ablation about 2 years ago, they were able to burn off one section, but unfortunately there was another section that was too small to burn off. I was told to keep an eye on my caffeine intake, but unfortunately I do feel an episode every now and then and my DR was wondering if it has to do with my BP still being a little high.

ugh ah man so you're saying what mom would always say really does work? (aka "eat your veggies") Thanks I think I'll give that a try first because I was shocked on the monthly bill for WW yikes! DH & I are already tight on $ and have cut way back on the not needed items.... and I don't think WW is a "needed" item

It's so expensive! I'm going to do online-only, at least until I got back to work, because it's a lot cheaper.
