OB receptionist

My old OB stopped doing OB so I had to find a new one. I called to make an appt yesterday with the new office, when I gave her my EDD she said wow you wasted not time to call us. Well, we don't want to see you till June 12th! 

Is it just me or does that just seem real rude? Maybe its pregnancy hormones...

    Rude and sort of weird.  Even knowing that they wouldn't want to see you until 6 weeks or so, you'd still want to call to make sure they had an appointment date/time that works for you, right?  My first appointment is not until 6/28, and that was literally the only appointment time/date open until mid July. If I had tried calling at 6 weeks, I can't imagine how late my first appointment would be.

    Weird.  With both my pregnancies I called right away because I wanted a convenient appointment.
