Opinions on the middle names for Lucy Cosette or Lucy Elspeth? Lucy has always been our girls name. We go round and round on middle.

Lucy Annabel
Lucy Claire I could never get over how it sounded like Loose Eclair

    I am not a fan of naming a kid a nickname. I would name the kid Lucile and then if you/she wants you can call her Lucy. I used to know a Lucile who went my Cece ("see see") because it was a good fit for her. 

     Anniversary
    When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.

    I like Lucile Claire.

    It's a full first name (not a nn) and gets around the "loose eclair" issue.

    I like both middle names but neither of them flow well with Lucy, in my opinion. Too many s sounds. I like Lucy Ruth.

    "Loose Eclair" made me laugh. Don't do that.

    I think Lucy is a perfectly legitimate given name, not just a nickname. My best friend's full first name is Lucy.
