DH is at a friends. I have asked him multiple times to put the screens in the front and back windows, but he hasn't done it yet. We don't have our air on so I have the front door open with the screen door shut since I can't open the windows with the cats. There are 20 steps to our front door and then we have a big porch, so it's private and no one can see in. So..it's really hot and 9 pm and I'm in PJs which are just an old t-shirt and undies, no bra because why not? I'm home alone and will be going to bed soon.
...And a neighbor knocks at the door to ask me a question. He can clearly see me sitting at the desk from the front door, so I had to get up...with no pants and no bra...at least my shirt covered it and maybe he thought I was wearing short shorts?
I told DH this is why you have to put the screens in the window!!
Re: my neighbor...
I know juggling a baby (or more than one) can be crazy, but can you figure out how to do it yourself once LO is down for the night? And I would say, if that ends up being the case, then DH owes you a Dairy Queen-something or other for stalling so long.
I guess I *could* do it myself, but DH buried the screens in the back of the storage room in the basement so I'd have to go digging around and I know at least the one window is sealed shut (which is actually why DH has been putting off putting the screens in). It's supposed to hit 90 today, so we may end up turning on the AC anyway.
Hahahaha this happened to me once. We have very good friends that live on our street, and the guy came by to drop something off. We had just moved into the house a couple months before, and still hadn't put up a curtain on the door. I was in a tank top and undies. Supposedly he didn't notice... but gosh I was embarrassed.
We put up a curtain that night.
