Rule on heated milk

They were heating DS2's bottle as I walked in the door to daycare today. It didn't touch his lips, was expressed yesterday and was only ever in the fridge.

I can put it in the fridge and send it in tomorrow right?

Also, What's the rule if he had eaten some of it? Just so I know for the future!

I'm not sure the actual rules.  But yes, I would re-send tomorrow.  And if he had eaten some, I would use for the next feed, but I'm not sure about re-sending tomorrow.  I'll be curious to see what others say.

  • I worried a lot more when she was younger - then I realized, it's fine.

Whenever LO is cutting teeth, she will only drink half of a bottle or so, that was already heated. I mix with fresh milk and send again the next day. So far she's fine. ;)
