Do you snack?

I am not normally a snacker, but I've been on a cheese and cracker kick lately. I may or may not have eaten almost a whole package of smoked gouda slices this week already...with little help from anybody else.

What's your favorite afternoon snack?

  • plain ruffles with French onion dip. - not a norm, but so good.

    I try to resist snacking, though I usually do.

  • Pretzels and craisens.

    Carrot sticks.

    Homemade baked goods are my favorite "snack" but I try to leave any of that for a dessert with dinner.

  • Currently a glass of wine. It's been one of those weeks. Lol. Usually banana dipped in pb.

    Yes.  I am more of a snacker than a meal eater though, which comes in handy now that I barely have time to eat with a no napping, colicky baby.  Since having to go dairy free, my snacks are different than they used to be.  Before, cheese was usually involved and now it is more hummus, crackers, almonds, raisins.

  • Yes, especially since I've been pregnant. I just need more protein between meals. I was on a cheese and nuts kick for a while, but lately it's been apples and peanut butter. I love wheat thins and cheez its and any kind of cookie but they don't fill me up and with my heartburn starchy stuff leaves a gross taste in my mouth.

  • I am definitely a snacker.  I don't eat very much at one time so I eat every few hours instead.  Some of my favorite snacks are cheese sticks, almonds, apples, bananas, cheese and crackers, PB crackers and lara bars.

  • Since counting calories, yeah.. because my main meals are a bit smaller, and I added in two snacks a day.

     I snack on fruit, raw veggies, greek yogurt (my newest LOVE is Oikos cafe latte- OMG), pretzel crisps, popcorn and nuts.

  • I'm a snacker!  My favorite no-good-for-me snack is chips and dip but I try to do cheese and fruit or a trail mix.  I'll make popcorn if I have time to sit down and eat it.  That would be my all time favorite snack.

  • Heck yes, I snack! Snacking's great for you... if takes the edge off your hunger so you don't overeat at the larger meals. Works like a charm :) 

    Uh, well, lately I just eat whatever DD's having for snack, so, sliced fruit/veggies, cheese, crackers, rice cakes, yoghurt, nuts... you know, the usual. My all time favorite snack food is popcorn for sure. Love it. I could eat if ever day and never, ever, tire of it.

  • I snack about twice a day, usually. Yogurt, a banana with almond butter, cheese and crackers, chex mix, those are go tos.

  • I am a huge snacker. I really don't eat a whole lot at meal times as I am just not that hungry. So I usually have a snack a couple hours after meal time. I love cheese, crackers, pretzels, fruit, veggies and a little dip or lite blue cheese, greek yogurt and hummus.

  • Lately Atkins shakes are my go to meal/snack. I have a newborn and trying to lose more weight. 

    Usually crackers or chips. I love baked chips.

    Me too. I get ragey and light-headed, shaky and blurred vision unless I eat every 2 hours. I don't have to eat a lot, but I need snacks.

    Me too. I get ragey and light-headed, shaky and blurred vision unless I eat every 2 hours. I don't have to eat a lot, but I need snacks. 

    I'm the same way. I'm hypoglycemic and am supposed to eat every 2 hours or I get the shakes and/or a headache.

    I'm convinced I have the slowest metabolism known to man.  I can reasonably go on only a cup of coffee all day.   The only time I snacked regularly was while pregnant.  I needed it both for the nutrition and to help combat nausea, but by like 2nd tri I didn't need a snack every day.  Only some days.  I really don't need snacks regularly.  I guess it's a good thing?

  • Occasionally, but this week I have been lucky to get regular meals (damn teething). I like hummus with pita chips or carrots, bananas, cheese and crackers and granola bars.

    This is my favorite snack!  I was just going to post about it.  I love multigrain crackers with a slice of baby swiss and a grape on top.

     Wait, why have I never heard of this flavor?? It sounds amazing! My grocery store is clearly lacking!!
