I just got a call that my pap came back abnormal. The pap was done 7 weeks pp. I'm going in next week for colopsy. Anyone have had this happen?

Yeah the previous post was mine : I'm asking my ob about it next week when I go for my iud. Was yours negative for high risk HPV? I'd never had an abnormal one before and I had a vaginal delivery. Very strange and it does scare you a little bit!

Yeah mine too. I'd just ask your OB what the results mean exactly and what could cause it. That's what I plan to do. I think we're fine though.

I had this years ago, and I've had colposcopies and 2 laser ablasions to get rid of all the cancerous cells. My doc gave me percosets to take before I came in to calm my nerves. It wasn't too bad, and now that I've given birth, it would probably seem like a walk in the park! Good luck, I know it's scary, but I'm sure they caught it early and now they'll check u evey 3 months for a year or so to make sure it's all gone.
