TP please

So I'm just having a rough week and could use some TP. My husband was let go from his job, and although we will be ok for a bit thanks to savings, we are both stressing. We are moving into a house in 2 weeks that is almost twice the rent from where we live now and really have set up our lives based on both incomes. I am the primary in terms of income but we still very much depend on his to keep up. He thought he'd be able to get a job at his old company, but now it seems like that isn't going to happen. He has nothing that is even close to an offer yet, but he's certainly trying. The stress is affecting our relationship and his patience with LO, which while I understand, is making things harder. I know the power of numbers so your TP are very much appreciated!

Im so sorry about your situation. My hubby was laid off too about two years ago from a well paying cushy job after ten years. We are surviving on my income only as DH started his own business and has no income. It does take a toll on our marriage and there are days I feel my stress will take the best of me. My advice to you is to stay positive and keep the faith. Personally for me, without faith, I would be lost. I wish everything works out for your family and your hubby finds a job.

I can totally relate.  My DH got laid off at the beginning of December and it wasn't until the day after DS was born that he started getting calls.  It was like the universe knew that I needed him at home at that point.  He ended up getting a job and starting when DS was just over 2 weeks old.  We were in the same situation where we had enough savings to get us by for a bit.  So I say try not to stress (yeah right) and see this as an opportunity.  Your DHnow has some time to get things ready for your big move and he has the chance to spend some precious quality time with your LO.  I know it can be stressful on your relationship, but try to remember that his pride and ego are likely very hurt right now and so long as he is actively looking for work try to give him some room.  I wish him lots of luck in finding something soon.
