Ok I'm over the LD visits.

Ended up there again last night. Lots of pain. Like couldn't move all day pain. It's from the huge hernia that I have. Turns out LO is kicking it and probably my kidneys which feels like back labor. I was having contractions as well but they weren't severe. However the news is that because of my huge hernia my no epi plan is pretty much out the window. It will most likely not go away after the birth like we were hoping so it will have to be repaired sometime after I give birth. There's just no way I can strain and push without doing damage so the epi is going to be needed so I can push effectively or I will likely end up with a section. I'd rather have an epi.

I also had an internal which is par for the course at LD (especially with my PTL history) and I'm already starting to dilate (I'm only at a 1 right now though) and baby is engaged. She said his head is really really low and "right there". My kids are a lot alike. Doc said again that I will not make it to my due date. I knew this was likely but I hope to make it to at least 38 weeks. DD was 38 and 3. So we're looking at June and hopefully 4 more weeks. Crazy!

I'm sorry your body is not cooperating and that you will have to have another procedure post delivery for that hernia.

I'm so sorry about the hernia. I have one that is scheduled to be repaired after my section by a plastic surgeon. I can relate to the pain, ugh it's awful sometimes.
I hope that little one keeps cooking until at least 38 weeks. I will keep you in my thoughts. Can't it ever be easy?

I'm so sorry you were back in the hospital. That pain sounds horrible too! You poor thing, I'm sorry things are so down for you right now. I hope Isaac can keep baking until at least 38 weeks.

The way I figure it is that it could be worse. I could be on bedrest. I could have had really scary PTL again. I could have had that nasty terbutaline again. I could have had a baby already. So I have some pain and my baby will be born at almost full term. I'll take it.
