Home from the hospital - venty whine

I was discharged mid morning and am happily home with orders to rest nonstop. It is already proving to be hard with my kids. Was fortunate enough to arrive home to a spotless house, clean sheets on the bed and all the laundry done thanks to my DH who is now mowing the lawn while my mom takes my girls for ice cream. My mom grocery shopped for me and is actually coming over before and after work to get my kids up and fed and to daycare and school since DH has to be at work early. I'm so exhausted that a shower caused me to lose my breath. I am not sure how I'm going to make it through this week -- Wed and Thurs I have my girls home with me and no help and will have an MD appointment each day. The good news is that baby boy passed all his non stress tests with flying colors and due to my non existent activity level my contractions are minimal. 

Anyhow, thank you all for the T&Ps. And continued T&Ps for all the new mamas and babies arriving on this board.

It's good to be home, isn't it? But I know what you mean about real life rearing its head when you get back. Just do the best that you can and take it one day at a time.
