Dad cancer update.

Thanks again for all of the good thoughts and prayers for our family. 

I went with my dad today to his pre-op appointment and they let us finally know all of the findings from the tests he was given.  It looks like it is a stage III cancer which has spread to two adjacent lymph nodes.  It has NOT been found to have spread  any further and there are no other organs involved - which is good news!  Next step is surgery on Monday and hopefully an easy recovery for him...  he's looking forward to having his "little nurses" check in on him daily.
